Republic Day: The country is celebrating 74th Republic Day

74th Republic Day Celebrations: This time, apart from the army, the number of DRDO and ex-servicemen will also be included in the parade.   1. The country is celebrating 74th Republic Day today. For the first time, a parade will be held on the duty path, which will be presided over by Draupadi Murmu. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is the chief guest of the event.

  2. The parade will go from Vijay Chowk to Red Fort. The parade will start at 10.30 am, which will be fixed for about 90 minutes. The ceremony will begin with a tribute at the National War Memorial.

  3. All the three armies of India will show their might in the parade. There will be 8 marching contingents of the Indian Armed Forces in the parade, in which 6 from the Army, 1 each from the Air Force and the Navy.

  4. Apart from this, a joint contingent and marching squad of the Egyptian Army will also participate. 45 aircraft of overlapping will also show might. This time, apart from the army, DRDO and ex-servicemen will also participate in the parade.

  6. This time 45 thousand common people are also participating in the parade. About 12,000 passes have been linked and about 32,000 online tickets have been bought.

  8. Before Corona, about 1.25 lakh people participated in the Republic Day celebrations. About 25 thousand people participated during Corona.

  9. The ceremony will begin at 10.06 am. PM Modi will reach the duty path at 10.21 am after paying tribute to the martyred soldiers on behalf of the nation.

  10. At 10.25 the Vice President will reach the office path and at 10.26 the President will come with bodyguards. This regiment of Mounted Bodyguards is one of the senior most regiments of the Indian Army. Its age is six feet and it has spears about nine feet long in its hands.
