Central government will focus on giving small loans to street vendors in 2023: Ashwini Vaishnav

The micro credit facility was launched by the Modi government in June 2020.

Telecom and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav (Ashwini Vaishnav) said on Saturday that in the year 2023, with the help of digital technology, the government will provide micro loan facility of up to Rs 5,000 to street vendors i.e. micro credit facility. Will give special emphasis on giving. Vaishnav said at the Digital India Award distribution function, “In 2023, special attention will be paid to the simple way of setting up lanes for street vendors to complete micro credit photos from Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000.”

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) has given about Rs 52,000 crore to provide 4G and 5G telecom service (telecom service) to all parts of the country to digitally connect every citizen. The Union Minister said that the country will see the implementation of indigenously developed 4G and 5G technologies this year.

Along with this, he also said that according to Prime Minister Modi’s vision to make India self-reliant in the technology sector, a chip electronic manufacturing plant will be established very soon in the country.

The Pradhan Mantri Street Vendors’ Self-Reliance Fund (PM SVANidhi) scheme was launched in June 2020 as a Micro Credit Facility (Micro Credit Facility). The objective of this PM SVANidhi (PM Street Vendor Atmanirbhar Nidhi) scheme is to make the street vendors a seat for the dizziness caused by the losses due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
