Months after the reunion, television actor Charu Asopa has confirmed her divorce with Rajeev Sen. There is a lot of buzz about their getting back together as the couple had decided to part ways in the past as well. It seems that now after giving a second chance to the relationship, Charu has finally decided to walk away from Rajiv. The actress claimed to have abused her husband and she also shared that she regrets giving her a second chance.
Speaking with ETimes, Charu said that the couple is done for good now. He told that there is a fight and quarrel between the two since their marriage. She claimed that Rajiv would disappear for weeks or months after a fight and would block all means of communication. He hoped that he would solve his problem for his daughter Gianna but it did not happen. The actress said that she regrets giving her marriage a second chance.
“Rajeev is temperamental and has abused and raised his hand on me once or twice. He will suspect me of cheating. When I was shooting for Akbar Ka Bal Birbal, he sent messages to my co-stars to stay away from me. It became difficult for me to work. I think he was cheating on me, but that’s something I can’t prove.”
Earlier the couple shared a joint statement on their respective Instagram profiles that they are maintaining their marriage and revealed that they were considering divorce as an option. However, they are giving their marriage a second chance keeping in mind the upbringing and happiness of their daughter. Soon after Charu shared the post, sushmita sen Commented, “I am so happy for all three of you!!! Dugga Dugga Shona!!!”
The statement said, “Yes, we went ahead and announced that we were ending our marriage and realized that we had reached the end and there was nothing beyond that. Divorce was an option we were considering. And we won’t deny it. Happy to announce this. We have decided to keep our marriage for good, we are both blessed with a beautiful daughter Ziana and we are proud to have her as parents. Wanting to give the best. Her upbringing and happiness is our first priority.”
Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa got married in 2019 and welcomed their daughter in November last year.
