Chennai: International Chess players Will be given to those coming from more than 180 countries health insurance card Which will give a cover of up to Rs 2 lakh for the treatment of the patient in the 13 empaneled hospitals, Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramaniam said this on Wednesday.

“If the cost of treatment is more than Rs 2 lakh, we will take the advice of the government,” he said.
All passengers will be subjected to health check-up on arrival at Chennai airport. After mass fever screening, there will be an RT-PCR test of the passengers. He said that special screening of passengers coming from countries affected by monkeypox would be done.
Medical screening will be repeated for all players before entering the field of play.
An expert team consisting of an Orthopedist, Gynecologist, Surgeon and Anesthetist will be available round the clock. Eight medical units will be set up near the hotels where the players are staying.
