Chess Olympiad: Dhoni to attend closing ceremony

Former India cricket captain MS Dhoni will attend the closing ceremony of the 44th FIDE Chess Olympiad to be held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday. The program is scheduled to start at 6 pm

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin will preside over the function in the presence of Minister of State for Youth Welfare and Sports Development Shiva V. Myanathan.

The other guests of the closing ceremony are GM Viswanathan Anand, Vice President of FIDE and Arkady Dvorkovih, President of FIDE.

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, President of the Asian Chess Federation, Bharat Singh Chauhan, President and Secretary of the All India Chess Federation (AICF) and Sanjay Kapoor will also be part of the event.
