Youth Rahul Sahu, who fell into a borewell in Pihrid village of Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh, was successfully rescued after over 100 hours of operation, informed officials. Sahu was rescued around midnight on June 14. Rahul Sahu was trapped in a 60 feet deep borewell in Pehrid village of Malkharoda block. Around 150 officers were deployed for the rescue operation. The rescue operation was carried out jointly by the Indian Army, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the district administration.
