A minor girl’s parents and two others allegedly assaulted a 25-year-old man, who had harassed the girl, in Mulki police station limits on Saturday.
Police said that the man misbehaved with the girl on December 13. The parents and their two friends kept a tab on the movements of the accused. On Saturday morning, they found the accused at the same place where he allegedly harassed the girl.
They allegedly tied him to a pole and thrashed him. Police soon reached the spot and took the youth to a local hospital.
On the complaint of the parents, the accused was arrested for the offense punishable under the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act. The police have also registered a complaint against the accused’s parents and two others.
