Anganwadi teachers and officers of Women Development and Child Welfare Department did ‘Graduation Day’ for children

During the Annual Day celebrations, children from various Anganwadi centers displayed their talents and participated in cultural programs and fancy dress programs.

MLA Malladi Vishnu, Collector S. Delhi Rao and other officials including Women Development and Child Welfare Principal Secretary AR Anuradha inaugurated the program here on Friday.

Students presented patriotic songs, performed folk dances and cultural programs depicting Indian culture and tradition.

Anganwadi teachers and officials of Women Development and Child Welfare Department organized ‘Graduation Day’ for the children. Children dressed up like freedom fighters caught everyone’s eyes.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Anuradha said that the government has developed Anganwadi centers at par with corporate and model schools and is providing quality education.

Mr. Delhi Rao said that nutritious food is being supplied at all Anganwadi centers and about 48,000 children are studying in Anganwadi schools of NTR district.

Sub-Collector GSS Praveen Chand, Women Development and Child Welfare Project Director G. Uma Devi, CDPO Renuka G. Satyavati, G. Mangamma, Nagamani, Deepti, Lalita, Anganwadi teachers and supervisors and parents participated.
