Chinese boy cycled 130 km to reach grandmother’s house to complain about his mother

The boy was upset after a fight with his mother

A shocking story has surfaced on social websites in China, which tells the story of an 11-year-old boy who cycles for almost 24 hours for a special purpose. According to South China Morning Post, The boy cycled 130 km to reach his grandmother’s house and complained to his mother, with whom he used to fight.

As a result, the boy collapsed and was discovered by passers-by alone in an expressway tunnel, local media outlet Meileijiang reported. Even the police officers who came to take the boy with them were surprised to know about this unusual feat.

Significantly, the boy was upset after a fight with his mother. He then decided to cycle to his grandmother’s house, which is located in Meijiang, a county in Zhejiang, to share his grievances about his mother.

While cycling, the boy navigated with the help of road signs and said he took several wrong turns. It took twice as long as it should have taken him to reach that point, although he was only an hour away from his destination. He survived the whole night journey by drinking bread and water brought from home.

The boy was then taken back to the nearest police station and taken away in a car by the officers as he was unable to walk due to exhaustion. Later, in the evening, he was picked up by his parents and grandmother.

The boy’s mother said he had threatened to go to his grandmother’s house but admitted it was “just a tantrum”.

While some on the Internet were stunned by the story, others were curious and concerned. “I want to know how his grandmother taught his mother a lesson,” commented one user while another wrote, “This kid is a genius, following road signs and daring to travel Knows how to find his way. At night.”
