Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan are going to share the screen (full length) for the first time in the upcoming film ‘Acharya’. As the film gears up for release soon, the makers are trying to cut down on the run-time, which is currently in the news.
It is reported that the run-time of ‘acharya’ is expected to be around 3 hours, which may not be recommended for the current scenario. While director Koratala Siva is reluctant to cut any scenes, he believes that there is enough material in the film to keep the audience hooked.
After Covid, the situation has changed. Screening time is also another factor that has an impact on people who want to watch movies in theatres. However, keeping these constraints in mind, the makers will consider trimming the film.
The release of ‘Acharya’ along with many other big-ticket films has faced countless hurdles and delays so far. Now that the commercial drama is gearing up for its massive release, the makers are faced with yet another run-time dilemma.

Talking about Acharya and his stint with Chiranjeevi, Ram recently told Bollywood Life, “I mean, it was not my decision. Yes, I am a part producer in this, but initially we had many options… like someone from outside the family. The 36-year-old actor told the entertainment news website that Acharya’s director Koratala Siva called him and said, “I know you are working on RRR, I know we are going to ask Rajamouli sir for our film in time. Can’t ask, but I can’t think further than you in terms of requiring the script.”
