To the surprise of many, Chitradurga emerged as the top district in Class X results with an overall pass percentage of 96.8 as the Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board (KSEAB) decided to release district-wise performance instead of district grades this year. Did. ,

Mandya and Hassan districts stood second and third with a pass percentage of 96.74 and 96.68 respectively. Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, which have always stood first and second in II PU results, were 19 and 18 respectively. Yadgir recorded the worst result with 75.49% and stood at 35th position.

Ravishankar Reddy K., DDPI, Chitradurga said that continuous evaluation is the secret of the success of the district. “This is not a one day achievement. For six years we were between third and sixth in class 10th result and last year we were fourth. Successfully counseled the underprivileged students. We trained all the teachers along with subject experts and various resource persons.”

Meanwhile, the educational districts of Bengaluru North and Bengaluru South, which have the highest number of private and elite schools, came in at 32 and 33, respectively, with 80.93 and 78.95 pass percentages. Bangalore North got ‘A’ grade and Bangalore South got ‘B’ grade last year.

talking to Hindu, P. Bailanjanappa, DDPI, Bengaluru South, said, “This is an unexpected result. There are more aided schools in our area which have achieved very poor results. Therefore, I have decided to issue notices to the headmasters of all schools in this regard.” He also said that in addition to a school adoption program for officers, they also plan to implement a student adoption program for teachers.
