The makers of Chiyaan Vikram’s much-awaited film Thangalan released a behind the scenes (BTS) video on his birthday on April 17 to give fans a glimpse into the making of the film. The soon to be released film being made on a grand scale is being directed by Pa Ranjith.
The makers on Monday surprised Chiyaan Vikram’s fans with an amazing birthday gift. He released a video containing snippets of the shooting. Ranjith’s tweet read, “Happy birthday to my Thangalan, Chiyaan sir. Presenting you a piece of meat as our humble tribute to Chiyaan, a gorgeous visual video from Thangaalan.
Reacting to the video, one of the fans wrote, “Hollywood level of making. This film will break many records. What an actor Vikram is, he breathed life into this role. Ranjith Anna Vision & Execution, GV Prakash BGM. Waiting for Marna movie.” Another wrote, “Literally goosebumps…what will happen when the movie releases.” A third user commented, “Wow! Thangalan is set against the backdrop of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), it also stars Pasupathy, Hari Krishnan Ambudurai, Preethi Karan and Muthukumar in pivotal roles. The film will release in Bengali, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Oriya and Marathi.
Apart from this, Vikram will be seen in the magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan 2. The long awaited Ponniyin Selvan 2 teaser is finally out. Viewers were left hanging at the end of the previous installment, Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 (PS-I), when Arulmozhivarman went missing in the water after being hit by a storm.
