CISCE ISC 12th Result 2022 Declared: 99.38% pass, 18 students top with 99.78% marks

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations has declared the results of ISC class 12 examination on Sunday. Students can now check the result on the official website cisce.org, and results.cisce.org. A total of 18 students have secured the top position by securing 99.78 per cent marks. This year, CISCE has registered an overall pass percentage of 99.38 percent in ISC Exam 2022. Girls have outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 99.52 percent, while boys have secured 99.26 percent.

South Zone has emerged as the top performing region with a pass percentage of 99.81 percent (9,147 students) – a total of 17 students did not clear the exam. The South is followed by the foreign sector which registered a pass percentage of 99.64 percent, and then the North at 99.43 percent. West Zone secured an overall pass percentage of 99.58 percent followed by East with 99.18 percent.

Students who are unhappy with their score can also apply for rechecking. Recheck module will be activated on 24th July 2022 at 5 PM and will be available till 30th July 2022. Students must note that after that no further request for rechecking of ISC Exam Year 2022 will be entertained. Rechecking fee will be Rs 1000 per subject. However, students will no longer be able to apply for rechecking of the results of Semester 1 as that score has already been finalized.

To check the results, students need to log in to their account and enter their unique ID, index number and captcha to check their individual score card. Apart from the official website, students can also check their result through SMS option. To get the ICSE, ISC exam result, students need to send their seven digit roll code to 09248082883.

This year, CISCE conducted the board exams in semester mode and question paper-cum-answer sheets were provided to the candidates to solve their papers. Semester 1 exam was conducted from November 22 and ended on December 20. The results were declared on February 7. Since the exam was conducted in two semesters, this year the marks of semester 1 exam has been halved (except geometric and mechanical drawing and art). These scores are added to the Semester 2 score to arrive at the final score.
