Addressing a gathering in Ahmedabad after inaugurating Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express Train and inauguration of the first phase of Ahmedabad Metro Rail ProjectHe also advocated modernization of cities according to the changing times and called for the construction of twin cities.

He said the new Vande Bharat Express train, which will be flagged off from Gandhinagar Rajdhani railway station, will reduce the travel time between Ahmedabad and Mumbai from eight hours to five-and-a-half hours and make the journey comfortable.
