Citroen C3 launched at Rs 5.70 lakh: Specs and features of Tata punch rival – Times of India

2022 Citroen C3 Launched today in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 5.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Maruti Suzuki is giving competition to the Ignis. The front of the C3 sports Citroen’s signature grille with split headlamps and gets LED DRLs. The car comes with multi-spoke alloy wheels (optional extra) and all-around body cladding along with chunky skid plates front and rear. It has 180 mm of ground clearance and 315 liters of boot space.
The Citroen C3 is powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 81 hp and 115 Nm of torque. Customers can also opt for a turbocharged version of the engine that produces 109 hp and 190 Nm of torque. Transmission options for both are five-speed manual and six-speed manual respectively. An automatic gearbox is yet to be offered with the C3.

The claimed fuel efficiency figures on the naturally aspirated engine and the turbocharged engine are 19.8 kpl and 19.4 kpl respectively.
Citroen C3 has a lot to offer in terms of features as well. The car gets a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, audio and phone controls on the steering wheel, four speakers, front and rear USB charging ports and more. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, speed sensing auto door lock, rear parking sensors and high-speed alert system.
