CM to inaugurate state level taluk courts in Kozhikode on Sunday

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the state-level ‘Karuthalam Kaithangam’, a taluk-level court, at the Malabar Christian College ground in Kozhikode on Sunday. Adalats are being held in 78 taluks across the state as part of the second anniversary celebrations of the LDF government.

Public Works and Tourism Minister PA Mohammad Riyas told reporters here on Saturday that the courts would be held from May 2 to 5 in four taluks of Kozhikode. Revenue Minister K. Apart from Rajan, Ports Minister Ahmed Devarkovil and Forest Minister AK Saseendran, Sree Rias will be present in the district courts.

The court of Kozhikode taluk will be held on May 2 at the Malabar Christian College ground. The Thamarassery taluk court will be held on May 4 at the Government UP School, while the Koyilandy taluk court will be held on May 6 at the Koyilandy Town Hall. And Vadakara Taluk Adalat will be held on May 8 at Vadakara Town Hall. All courts will be held from 10 am to 1 pm.

District Collector A Geeta said that 4,207 complaints have been received so far in Kozhikode. Additional District Magistrate C. Mohammad Rafiq and Deputy Collector PN Purushottam were present.
