Coal India Ltd. (CIL) has released a notification for the recruitment of candidates for the post of Management Trainees through GATE-2022 score. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up a total of 1,050 vacancies in various disciplines.
Coal India MT registration process started on 23rd June and last date to apply is 22nd July, 2022. Eligible candidates can fill the application form available on the official website https://coalindia.in/.
Coal India Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
Eligible candidates must have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE – 2022) in Engineering. Based on GATE-2022 score/score and requirement, candidates will be shortlisted discipline-wise in the ratio of 1:3 for further selection process. Final merit list for each subject will be prepared on the basis of GATE-2022 score/scores.
Coal India Recruitment 2022: Application Fee
Candidates belonging to General (UR) / OBC (Creamy Layer and Non-Creamy Layer) / EWS categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,180. Whereas under the categories of SC/ ST/ PWD/ ESM candidates/ employees of Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries are exempted from paying the application fee.

Age Range: The upper age limit for General (UR) and EWS category candidates is 30 years as on May 31, 2022. However, there is relaxation in upper age limit for reserved and other categories. education: To be eligible for Mining/Civil/Electronics & Telecommunication subjects, a candidate must have completed B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) course in the relevant branch of Engineering with minimum 60 percentile marks. Whereas to be eligible for System and EDP subjects, candidate should have BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/IT or MCA with at least 60 percent marks.
It is to be noted that applicants must have done regular full time course in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engineering)/ MCA from a recognized university.
Coal India Recruitment 2022: Salary
Those selected as Management Trainees in E-2 grade will get a starting basic pay of Rs.50,000 to Rs.1,60,000 per month during the training period. Interested candidates will have a look at the official notification for detailed information.
