A meeting of at least 300 members should be held once in three months to get advice from the public. The concerned councilor will be the chairman of the area assembly.
“We will have to publish the limits of the gathering of each area in the next 10 to 15 days. Councilors should start work as soon as possible. He should sit with the council secretary to complete the work at the earliest,” said the commissioner.
a ward committee also need to be made. One person from each area assembly shall be nominated by the Municipal Council as a member of the Ward Committee. An official of the corporation said that the name of the person nominated for the ward committee should be in the voter list of the particular ward.
The councilor will be the chairman of the ward council consisting of 10 members. The ward committee will make suggestions and submit the project for the ward to the council. The Ward Committee can make representations regarding grievances and make suggestions on civic amenities to the Council.
Its meeting will be held once in every three months. He said that to complete the quorum, it is necessary to have at least two members and a chairman.
The meeting of the Ward Committee shall be convened by an officer of the Corporation whose rank is equivalent to the rank of Assistant. He will be called the secretary of the committee.
