Coimbatore : coimbatore smart city Ltd. will conduct fun activities to involve citizens. There will be programs on the banks of the lakes like periyakulamValankulam and Kumarasamy which were developed under the Smart City Scheme.
Events like Marketplace, Light Music, Cyclothon and Food Festival are planned over the weekend of September.
All in All Angadi, a market place for citizens to buy and sell their products, is planned to be held at Periyakulam on September 3 and 4 (between 11 am to 9 am).
A light music show is planned at Inisai Evening, Valankulam (below the flyover) from 5 PM on 10th September.
A cyclothon is scheduled for 18 September.
A food festival has been planned near Kumarasamy lake on September 24 and 25. Citizens can book stalls to sell their food items.

M Pratap, commissioner and managing director, Coimbatore Smart City Limited, said that the stall allocation for food festivals and marketplaces will be done on a first come and first served basis. Those who wish to participate in light concerts and showcase their talent can also register.
