Collinson eyes priority pass program development in key markets of India, China

A top executive said Priority Pass, the airport lounge and experience program operated by Collinson globally, is set to grow in key markets such as India and China.

“We offer travelers 1,300 airport lounges and travel experiences in more than 650 airports in 148 countries,” said Todd Handcock, president of Asia Pacific, Collinson.

“We will continue to expand into key hubs and locations – both with more lounges and a wider variety of experiences,” he added.

“We aim to do this in the busiest locations as well as in growth markets such as India and China,” he added.

Now, through Priority Pass, “members can arrange airport transfers or rent a car, book spa treatments, get meals delivered to their gate and get daily exercise routines from anywhere.” Can do,” he said.

Collinson has been operating in India for over 16 years and the company has grown “significantly”, he said.

“In 2022, we launched Priority Pass Access India, a dedicated domestic lounge experience program that enables eligible cardholders to access 54 lounges and lounge options across major cities in India with just a tap or swipe of their payment card By swiping,” he said.

He said that though Indian airports are expected to register significant growth in air passenger traffic in the coming years, several challenges remain.
