Comedian Amit Tandon gives a funny take on the dish served to him in an American restaurant

Whether we go to a fine dining restaurant or a dhaba on the highway, we prefer to order the most popular dish on the menu. And it is usually a ‘Chef’s Special’ dish. Well, we don’t know about you, but Indian stand-up comedian Amit Tandon decided to go with the chef’s special after visiting a restaurant in New York. However, the result was not so pleasant. In a tweet, Amit shared how he ordered a “chef’s favorite turkey roast” and got the roasted turkey served with mayonnaise, omelette, and fried vegetables. Amit joked that the dish was named “Chef’s Favorite” because he did not need to cook anything in the dish. The comedian shared a picture of his meal on Twitter, and it has sent the internet into a tizzy.

In the photo, we can see turkey pieces placed in the most shabby way on a plate. It was topped with a yellow sauce and tossed vegetables, which included carrots, zucchini, along with red, yellow, and green bell peppers. “I ordered the Chef’s Favorite Turkey Roast. It seems to be a favorite of the chef as he doesn’t need to cook anything in the dish,” he tweeted along with the picture. To keep an eye:

“And which place is this? Tell me that too God bless you next time only.” To this, Amit Tandon replied: “Juniors in New York. Otherwise nice place.”

Another user wrote, ‘Chef’s favorite, restaurant special and any such fancy item is the biggest scam.’

Some call it a “DIY (Do It Yourself)” dish.

It was written in a comment, “Poor Turkey, I will lose my life unnecessarily.”

Another asked, “How come it looks so awful?”

People came up with their own bizarre explanations. One person said, ‘The chef must have been the manager of Ikea earlier.’
