With the Commonwealth Games 2022 starting today, Indian para athletes are aiming to increase the country’s overall medal tally. Speaking about the preparations, Para Table Tennis player Bhavna Patel said, “I am looking forward to the Commonwealth Games. I will not take any pressure as it affects the game. I will do my best as I did during the Tokyo Olympics. I want my medal tally to get medals in Commonwealth Games. Similarly, Para table tennis player of class 3 category Sonal Patel said, “This is the second time I am playing in Commonwealth Games. I practice 7 hours a day. Everyone has worked so hard, so this time more medals will come from India. “I am very excited to participate in the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022, this is my first time as a sportsperson. I am the last to fetch gold here. I have been preparing for 6-8 months.Another para table tennis player Raj Aravindan said that thanks to the Sports Authority of India and the Government of India.
