New Delhi: East Punjab Congress chief Sunil Jakhari Announced his decision to quit the party on Saturday. The decision has been taken by the party after his suspension for two years.
He has wished the party good luck in the live session. Facebook,
“…Good luck and goodbye Congress…” he said.
He said that while he is upset and suffering, he “feels pity” for the Congress as well.
Jakhar on Friday wrote on Twitter that he would share his ‘Dil Ki Baat’ on Saturday. He shared his Facebook Live session with the same title on Saturday.

Describing the event as just a formality, he said, “Congress should have organized ‘Chintan Shivir’ and not ‘Chintan Shivir’.” Jakhar also said that the top leadership of the Congress hardly knows or wants to find ways to save the party.

“The Congress should have constituted an additional committee to find out the reasons for its miserably failure in the Uttar Pradesh elections,” he said. He also targeted Harish Rawat and held him responsible for the defeat of the Congress.
