As the Karnataka Legislature session began on 13 September, Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah, KPCC President DK Shivakumar and other Congress leaders staged a bullock cart at Vidhana Soudha to protest the BJP government’s failure to control the rise in petrol and diesel prices. Got it.
Mr Siddaramaiah told reporters that the BJP was “lying” about the reason for the rise in fuel prices by blaming the crude oil prices in the international market. He said the party would also raise the issue in the session.
