congress leader Rahul Gandhi Hailing the Himachal Pradesh government’s decision to restore the old pension scheme in its first cabinet meeting on Sunday, it said ‘Congress means trust’.
The Himachal Pradesh government in its first cabinet meeting on Friday approved the restoration of the old pension scheme, calling it a “Lohri gift” to 1.36 lakh employees who are currently under the new pension scheme.
In the first meeting of the government, the Congress had promised to take a decision to restore the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and it kept its promise.
Taking to Twitter, Gandhi said the Congress has brought back OPS in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and now Himachal Pradesh.
