Congress has released the names of 14 candidates for the Lok Sabha Elections, and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. For three Lok Sabha constituencies in Andhra Pradesh, Congress has fielded KBR Naidu, SK Basheed, and M Jagapathi in Narsapuram, Rajampet, and Chittor seats respectively.

Congress also released the names of three candidates for Lok Sabha Elections in Telangana. Velichala Rajender Rao, Mohammed Waliullah Sameer, and Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy has been fielded by Congress from Karimnagar, Hyderabad, and Khammam respectively.
Meanwhile, the Congress on Wednesday launched its campaign for the Shimla parliamentary constituency from the Sri Renukaji assembly segment.
This was the first Congress election rally in the Shimla parliamentary constituency after sitting MLA from Kasauli assembly segment Vinod Sultanpuri was declared the party candidate from the seat.
Launching the campaign at a rally in Khalakyar village, about 50 km from here, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that selection of Sri Renukaji assembly segment for launching Sultanpuri‘s campaign carries big political significance.
Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and others will address public meetings in Gujarat to campaign for party candidates contesting the Lok Sabha elections, the opposition party said on Wednesday.
The Congress will begin its Lok Sabha campaign for Gujarat from Friday, and the party’s national leadership will hold public rallies in different parts of the state and address the media over various issues, the Gujarat unit of the party said.
