Congress workers protest outside Kapil Sibal’s house with posters of Get Well Soon

Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal came under attack on Wednesday after questioning the functioning of the Congress. Congress party workers also protested outside his house in the national capital.

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) workers protested outside his house carrying posters of ‘Get Well Soon’ and slogans against Sibal, saying they were “hurt” by his remarks.

Youth Congress workers also called ‘Quit the party! Come to your senses!” and “Rahul Gandhi Zindabad!”

After several Congress leaders quit the party and its Punjab unit, Sibal demanded an immediate meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) and wondered who was taking decisions in the party due to lack of full time. President.

Sibal, a member of the ‘Group of 23’, which had written to Congress President Sonia Gandhi last year, told a press conference that the group is “not Ji Huzoor 23” and will continue to put forward the views and reiterate the demands.

A senior DPCC official said, “The workers, feeling hurt by Sibal’s remarks, went there of their own free will. They expressed their disappointment over the remarks.” PTI.

Several leaders hit out at Sibal for what he said was questioning the leadership from which he had “benefited” earlier.

Congress general secretary Ajay Maken and Chhattisgarh minister TS Singhdeo also hit out at Sibal for his remarks.
