Telangana expects 1 crore dose of COVID vaccine this month: CS

Telangana is expecting a consignment of one crore doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in the current month. Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar said that the government has so far given the first dose of the vaccine to 2.02 crore people and three to four lakh people are being given the vaccine daily.

He said that the state has covered 2.8 crore people through the special vaccination drive.

The Chief Secretary inaugurated the Mega Immunization Center set up in collaboration with Care India at Khajaguda Sports Complex on Tuesday morning. It is one of the six established by the central government to cover the entire population in a time bound manner.
