Surat: For this homemaker and mother of two, the challenge of balancing the studies of demanding company secretaries (CS) and the inevitable domestic duties became easier when the 40-year-old secured an all-India rank (Wind) 4 in professional program (old syllabus) examination, the results of which were declared on Friday.

Talking to TOI, Suman SaurabhThose who scored 453/900 said that they are very happy with their achievement.
“Initially, I took lessons from CS Mitesh Desai, but due to domestic responsibilities and the pandemic, I took online classes. Some people who knew me had doubts whether I would be able to clear the exam. They have their reasons because I am from Valsad. Said I am taking the exam since 2016 but didn’t get success. However, this time I decided to crack the exam and silence my critics forever.-based Bachelor of Arts explaining the difficult CS journey.
Her family members including husband who works with GST department, son who is studying electrical and electronics engineering in Bangalore and daughter studying in class XI supported her during this challenge.
Saurabh said, “My advice to the next generation of CS students is that once the syllabus is completed, revision is most important and should be selective study only.”
Sakshi Gera (21) from Surat secured AIR 9 by securing 508 marks out of 800 in the Executive Program (New Syllabus). Gera completed her preparation by taking tuitions, as the syllabus is long.
He said, “Everyone should not only give their 100 percent in the study but also revise again and again for good marks.”
Jay Mehta, who secured AIR 3 with 533 marks out of 900 in the professional program (new course) and secured first rank in Surat, said, “Make your studies stress-free. Whenever you feel stressed, try again. Refresh your mood before you study.”
