Thane: The Twin Cities Welfare And dombivli Maharashtra’s Thane district saw a sharp drop in new Covid-19 cases on Saturday.
A total of 24 persons tested positive for coronavirus in a day, as per the latest figures by Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC)
Most of the cases were reported in Dombivali East (9), followed by 6 in Kalyan West, 5 in Dombivali West and 4 in Kalyan East.
No new cases have been reported in Mohane and Manda-Titwala region.
Also, no new death due to Covid-19 was reported in KDMC limits.
On the other hand, 52 persons recovered from the infection on Saturday, taking the total number of recoveries to 1,40,354.
At present, 630 patients are being treated for Kovid-19 jointly in Kalyan and Dombivali.
