Covid updates: India sees further decline in daily cases with 14,830 new infections

Further, the country reported 36 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll in the country to 526,110.

The ministry said that the national coronavirus recovery rate was recorded at 98.47 percent. The daily positivity rate is 3.48 percent.

The Health Ministry said that the number of active COVID-19 cases in India has come down from 1,50,877 to 1,47,512.

So far, 2,02,50,57,717 people have been vaccinated in the country under the nationwide vaccination campaign, out of which 30,42,476 people were vaccinated in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, a new advice was issued in Dehradun on July 25, emphasizing on a five-point plan of testing, surveillance, treatment, vaccination and compliance with COVID-appropriate behavior to contain the spread in Uttarakhand.
