COVID Vaccination: Young, Young India is showing the way: PM Modi

With more than half of the youth in the 15-18 age group getting the first dose of the COVID vaccine, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that youth and youth India is leading the way.

His tweet was in response to Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya’s tweet on Tuesday, which said it was a “big day” for India’s fight against the pandemic as more than 50% of youth between the ages of 15 and 18 have received the vaccine. The first dose has been received.

Mandaviya on Tuesday informed that so far more than 50% children in the age group of 15-18 in the country have received the first dose of the Kovid-19 vaccine, when the vaccination campaign for the age group started from January 3. India has vaccinated over 35 crore first doses of Covaxin vaccine to children in the age group of 15-18 years, with the hope that the first phase of the vaccination campaign for this age group will be completed by the end of this month.

After being announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 25 last year, the country started immunization of children aged 15-18 years from January 3, 2022.
