Axar Patel and KL Rahul, who were rested for the New Zealand ODI, were also brought back as were KS Bharat and Shahbaz Ahmed.
Unadkat will be part of the pace battery led by Mohammed Shami and joined by Hardik Pandya along with Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur and Umran Malik, while Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel and Jadeja are the spinners.
In-form opener Shubman Gill, who scored a double hundred in the first ODI against New Zealand in Hyderabad, has joined Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav in the crucial series ahead of this year’s ODI World Cup in India.
