Cryptocurrency Update: 6 coins up 1,807% in one day. bitcoin, ether in red zone

Global cryptocurrency market Back in the red zone on 13 November, Saturday. Following a successful run of major crypto coins over the past few days, there has been a decline. The two biggest cryptocurrencies, bitcoin and ether, both saw their lifetime highs in recent days. Bitcoin crossed an all-time high of $67,000 in the past week. On the other hand, Ethereum or Ether, which is the largest altcoin in the world crossed the $4,800 mark during the same period. This significantly propelled the global cryptocurrency market for a few days before moving back into the red zone on Saturday.

Data from CoinMarketCap shows that bitcoin was trading at $63,395.21 on the day. It was a decline of 0.86 per cent during the last day. One unit of Ether was priced at $4,587.87, further data shows. It was 0.87 per cent per annum in the last 24 hours. A note on CoinMarketCap’s website said that bitcoin dominance currently stands at 43.12 percent, down 0.15 percent over the day.

The global cryptocurrency market capitalization stood at $2.78 trillion on Saturday, November 13. It was down 0.96 percent during the previous day, crypto tracking CoinMarketCap data showed. As mentioned, the decline was attributed to the falling price of crypto coins on the previous day. The price of Shiba Inu, which continued for two consecutive days, also saw a significant drop in the last 25 hours. One SHIB token was priced at $0.00005138 that day, down 1.16 percent from the previous day.

The total volume of the crypto market in the last 24 hours was $106.76 billion. This marks a reduction of 15.62 percent in volumes as compared to the previous day. “The total volume of DeFi currently stands at $12.33 billion, which is 11.55 percent of the total crypto market’s 24-hour volume,” CoinMarketCap said in a note on its website.

Data from CoinMarketCap shows that BitBall was the top gainer in the global crypto market. In the last 24 hours, the value of one token has increased by 1,806.85 percent. According to the data, the price of one token was $0.1487. Uniswap Finance [old] occupied the second spot in the pack of top gainers with a price of $0.04568 and an increase of 1,621.63 percent over the past 24 hours. META, which is valued at $0.00002846 per token, was ranked third with a gain of 759.62 percent on the last day.

As far as losers are concerned, the top spot went to Allonomics. The price of one token fell 80.66 per cent and was trading at $5.35 on Friday. WeOwn and ArmzLegends finished second and third on the charts, losing 80.44 and 70.79 percent respectively during the final day.
