D. Srinivas Sarma, Senior Principal Scientist, CSIR-NGRI has been conferred with the prestigious National Geology Award for the year 2019 by the Ministry of Mines for his significant contribution in the field of Basic Geology.
A doctorate in geochemistry and the origin of gold mineralization from Osmania University, his main research focuses on gold deposits, a press release said.
