CTET 2022 registration deadline is approaching, check pass percentage from previous years

The registration process for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2022 was started by? central board of secondary education (CBSE) on 31st October. The last date for submission of applications is 24 November. The last date for candidates to pay fees is November 25 at 3:30 pm on the official website – ctet.nic.in.

The admit card for the candidates will contain information about the exact dates and changes of CTET 2022 CBT exam. The exams are scheduled to take place between December 2022 and January 2023, however, the exact dates are yet to be announced. CTET qualification is a mandatory requirement for teacher recruitment in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and many other organizations.

Candidates must know that if they are applying under general category and applying under OBC, SC or ST categories then they have to get at least 60 percentile to qualify for their CTET paper. CTET is 2.5 hours long and candidates can choose to attempt the paper in English or Hindi.

Depending on the complexity of the exam and the number of applicants for CTET 2022, CBSE has the exclusive option to revise the minimum qualifying marks for CTET cut-off.

The test is used by teachers for classes one to eight. CTET 2022 will have two papers: Paper 1 is for candidates who want to teach students in grades 1 to 5, and Paper 2 is for those who want to teach students in grades 6 to 8. If the candidates aspire to teach at both the levels, they will have to appear for both the exams (Paper I and II).
