CUET 2022: Application process, syllabus, other details to open this week

UGC issued notice on March 21 Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Admissions to UG programs in all UGC-funded central universities from the academic session 2022-2023 will be conducted in 13 languages ​​including English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

Here’s what you need to know about Central University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022:

National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting Undergraduate Entrance Test for all Central Universities (CU) for the academic session 2022-2023. CUET (UG) – 2022 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The online application forms for undergraduate programs will open from 02.04.2022, the link for the same will be made available on the official website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.

Applications will be open from April 2 to April 30.

Exam Structure for CUET (UG) – 2022:

CUET (UG) – 2022 will consist of the following 4 sections:

Section IA – 13 Languages

Section IB – 19 Languages

Section II – 27 Domain-Specific Topics

SECTION III – GENERAL EXAMINATION

A candidate can opt for a maximum of 3 languages, including Section IA and Section IB (the third language chosen should be in lieu of domain-specific subjects).

Section II provides 27 subjects out of which a candidate can choose a maximum of 6 subjects.

Section III consists of General Examination.

For choosing Languages ​​(up to 3) from Section IA and IB and a maximum of 6 subjects from Section II and General Test under Section III, the candidate should mention the requirements of his/her desired University.

Level of Questions for CUET (UG)-2022:

All questions in various test areas will be benchmarked at Class XII level only. Student

Number Of Attempts:

If a university allows the students of previous years of class XII to take admission in the current year also, then such students will also be eligible to appear in CUET (UG) – 2022.

Choice of languages ​​and themes:

Generally the languages/subjects chosen should be the same as those selected by the student in his/her latest Class XII Board Exam. However, if a university allows any flexibility in this regard, it can also be exercised under CUET (UG)-2022. Candidates should carefully go through the eligibility requirements of various Central Universities in this regard.
