CUET 2022: NTA blames centers for non-compliance, know student helpline numbers

After several students said that they faced technical problems in some centers Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET) UG 2022The National Testing Agency (NTA) reviewed the entire situation yesterday. It claimed that some of the examination centers have failed to follow the protocols laid down by the agency. It has now decided to postpone the examination at 50 centres.

“Taking cognizance of the inconvenience being caused to students in some of the CUET centres, NTA reviewed the entire situation yesterday. It was found that some centers failed to follow the prescribed protocol. Any incident of non-compliance/ vandalism/ ignorance will be taken very seriously and strict action will be taken against those centers to ensure smooth conduct of examinations in future,” the NTA said.

NTA has also informed that grievances of affected students can be addressed on email – cuetgrievance@nta.ac.in. Candidates have to mention their application number in the subject. NTA is committed to protect the interest of the students.

NTA said in the official notice, “Due to various administrative and technical reasons, the CUET (UG) – 2022 examination scheduled for 04 August 2022 (1st Shift) has been postponed to 12 August 2022 for certain examination centres. “

“Reports were sought from supervisors/city coordinators on the ground. Based on their recommendations, the second shift scheduled for 04 August 2022 (Shift 2) (3 PM to 6 PM) has been canceled and will now be held from 12 to 14 August 2022. The same admit card will be valid for the respective candidates whose examination has been postponed. In case, 12-14 August 2022 is not suitable, candidates may send an e-mail to datechange@nta.ac.in mentioning their desired date and roll number,” the exam conducting body had said.
