CUET-UG 2022 exams from July 15; Registration and correction window opens for two more days – Times of India

NEW DELHI: A candidate is allowed to appear in up to nine papers resulting in 54,000 subject combinations, the longest being the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG) to be held from July 15 to August 10, 2022. There will be an entrance exam. More than 11 lakh candidates have registered for the first edition of CUET. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has also reopened the registration and correction window for two days – June 23 to June 24.

As per the notification released on Wednesday, CUET-UG will be spread over 10 days starting from July 15. There will be no CUET paper on 17th July 2022 due to NEET-UG and between 21st July to 3rd August due to JEE. (Main) Examination. All these national level entrance exams are conducted by NTA. The exam will be conducted in 554 cities in India and 13 cities outside India.

According to Vineet Joshi, Director General, NTA, “Since the exam is being conducted only once and it is the only route for admission in central universities, the registration as well as reformed widows have been reopened till June 24 so that Anyone who has missed registration or failed to make payment can do so. A total of 44 Central Universities, 12 State Universities, 11 Deemed Universities and 19 Private Universities are conducting undergraduate admission in the academic session 2022-23 on the basis of CUET score.

The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Under the CUET-UG scheme, an applicant has to take a language test and can opt for an additional language test depending on the admission requirement of the specific universities. Candidates can also choose from six domain specific subjects and an optional general test.

It will be conducted in 13 languages ​​- Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi and Urdu. Additionally, a candidate can choose from 19 other languages ​​such as French, German, Japanese, Russian, Bodo, Santhali and many more.
