CUET UG 2022 re-test to be held today

National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CUET UG 2022 re-test today, September 11, at various exam centers across the country. According to the notice, it has been decided to conduct the re-examination in CUET (UG) – 2022 based on the experience of some students based on their grievances.

Information given to these students QET UG 2022 Re-test through their registered e-mail address. The results of the entrance test for admission to undergraduate courses will be declared by September 15.

“The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the CUET-UG results by September 15 or, if possible, a few days earlier as well. University Grants Commission Chairman Jagdish Kumar said that all the participating universities can keep their web portals ready to start the UG admission process on the basis of CUET-UG scores.

The first edition of CUET-UG, the gateway for undergraduate admissions, began in July and ended on August 30. Sixty percent attendance was recorded in the exam. As per the initial plan, all the phases of CUET-UG were to end on August 20.

The answer keys for phase 1 to phase 6 were released on September 8 and students were allowed to raise objections till September 10. After the NTA receives the objections, the result will be declared along with the final answer key by September 15.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is the common gateway for undergraduate admission in all central universities.

The UGC chief had announced in March that CUET ScoreClass 12 marks will not be mandatory for admission to 45 central universities, which may decide their minimum eligibility criteria.

With 14.9 lakh registrations, CUET is now the second largest entrance exam in the country, surpassing JEE-Main’s average registration of nine lakh. NEET-UG is the biggest entrance exam in India, with an average of 18 lakh registrations.
