A study has selected some of the most popular yet most complained about tourist attractions around the world. Accumulating data from one- and two-star reviews created by Tripadvisor, MrQ shows the top 10 places people visited and didn’t have a good time as expected.
People crave to visit some of the popular tourist attractions to such an extent that they do not despair of the prospect of that place. Files reviews here on Tripadvisor. Based on these reviews, the place with the most complaints is the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Located on Hollywood Boulevard, the Walk of Fame received a total of 17,616 reviews, with 20 percent of the reviews being one and two stars.
Next is the Palace of Versailles, France, which received a total of 14,608 reviews. One and two stars were 17 percent of the total number of reviews. There were many other, very famous tourist attractions that made it to this list. Among them are the Empire State Building and Buckingham Palace, which have 92,362 and 29,303 total reviews. The Empire State Building received poor reviews at 4 percent of the total reviews, while Buckingham Palace received one and two stars at 3 percent of the total reviews.
Stonehenge, a man-made marvel, has also received a fair number of poor reviews. Stonehenge is under hot water in 8 percent of the total 14,498 reviews. The least hated tourist attraction is the Great Wall of China. Historic Place received a total of 23,785 reviews, of which only 114 reviews gave a star or two. Other places on the list are Hollywood Sign, Big Ben, White House, Leaning Tower of Pisa and Pyramids of Giza.
