Commonwealth Games 2022, Day 10, Live UpdatesIndia is winning the gold medal on the 10th day of the Commonwealth Games 2022. Three boxers – Nikhat Zareen (women’s light flyweight), Amit Panghal (men’s flyweight) and Neetu Ganghas (women’s minimum weight) – have won their respective finals. In the men’s triple jump, India won the top two medals, Courtesy Aldhos Paul (jumping 17.03m for gold) and Abdullah Abubakar Narangolintevid (jumping 17.02 for silver). Meanwhile, Annu Rani and Sandeep Kumar won bronze medals for India in the women’s javelin throw and men’s 10km race respectively. Meanwhile, Indian shuttlers Lakshya Sen and PV Sindhu have advanced to the finals of badminton men’s and women’s singles respectively. Kidambi Srikanth had to face defeat in the semi-finals of badminton men’s singles. India also won the bronze medal in women’s hockey by defeating New Zealand in a shootout. Pugilist Sagar Ahlawat will also try to bring home the gold medal when he leaves the house to play his final match.

Treesa Jolly/Gayatri Gopichand lost in the badminton women’s doubles semifinals and will now play for bronze. India’s Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty have entered the badminton men’s doubles final and will play for gold on Sunday. India’s men’s doubles pair of Achanta Sharath Kamal/G Sathiyan lost to England’s Paul Drinkhall/Liam Pitchford in the table men’s doubles final and settled for silver.

Later in the day, several athletes are on the field, while India will take on Australia in the women’s cricket final for gold.
