As part of the deal, the 38-year-old actor will write and produce screenplay material and other creative projects for Netflix, the streaming service said in a statement.

Levy’s first project with Netflix is ​​an untitled romantic comedy in which the actor will star, write, and direct. He will also produce the film with Sister’s Stacy Snyder and Kate Fenske.

Levy’s work on the series will begin in July 2022 when his current three-year overall deal with ABC Signature ends.

“Netflix offered ‘Shit’s Creek’ a second home at the right time and opened the doors to an entirely new audience for us. Featuring Katherine O’Hara and Annie Murphy, the show followed the trials and tribulations of the formerly wealthy Rose family when they were forced to relocate to Schitts Creek, a small town they once joked about. had bought.

The sitcom created history after making a clean sweep in the comedy category at the 72nd Emmy Awards held in September 2020.
