Darlings: Shah Rukh Khan praises Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah’s film teaser; Says ‘can’t wait to see’

Darlings: The teaser of the upcoming streaming film was unveiled on Tuesday. Debutant filmmaker Jasmeet K. Features Dark Comedy, Directed by Rein Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma, Roshan Mathew and Vijay Maurya in lead roles. The video features Alia’s character narrating a legend through a voice-over as we get a glimpse of each character before the plot gets thick. As soon as the teaser was released by the makers, it not only caught the attention of fans but also many celebrities who praised it on their social media. Not only this Bollywood superstar also Shahrukh Khan He was impressed by the teaser of the film as he took to his Instagram handle and shared it along with a post of appreciation.

Along with the teaser, Shah Rukh wrote in the caption, “Funny, dark, quirky, mendock, bitchoo and above all @shefalishahofficial and @aliaabhatt. Can’t wait to see the mix in #DarlingsOnNetflix. Release 5th August.”

Meanwhile, Alia surprised everyone by sharing a teaser of the film on Instagram on Tuesday. Actors Shafali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew are also a part of the project. “It’s just a tease darlings,” she captioned the clip.

Alia excited about the digital release of the film said, “Darlings hold a very special place in my heart, this is my first film as a producer, that too with Red Chillies. We are very proud and happy that How the film has shaped up and we hope it will entertain and engage audiences across the globe.”

Helmed by Jasmeet K Rein, ‘Darlings’ is touted as a “dark comedy-drama” that explores the lives of a mother-daughter duo who try to find their place in Mumbai, all Finds courage and love in extraordinary circumstances while fighting odds.
