Day Trading Guide for Friday: The weakness in the Indian stock market continued for the third consecutive session on Thursday. NSE Nifty closed 88 points lower at 18,178 while BSE Sensex closed 336 points lower at 60,923 level. However, Bank Nifty rose 512 points to close at 40,030. In Thursday’s session, a massive intraday upside recovery emerged from the day’s low of 18,048 and closed the day by erasing most of the intraday losses. According to stock market analysts, this pattern indicates an uptrend in buying from the lower levels. It also indicates a possible completion of the recent downtrend in the market.
On a day when volumes on the NSE were the lowest in the last 4 days, banks were the main gainers across sectors, while metals, telecom, IT and realty were the main losers.

A positive close in the next session may confirm the formation of a higher bottom at the low of 18,048 on Thursday. A permanent upside move from here May be. Finally challenges the highs of 18,604 in the near future. Immediate support for NSE Nifty is placed around 18,150 to 18,050 levels.”
