Day Trading Guide for Tuesday: After showing range-bound movement in the last few trading sessions, the Indian stock market witnessed a decent rally on Monday. The NSE Nifty closed 151 points higher at 18,068 while the BSE Sensex closed at 60,545, up 477 points. According to stock market experts, the current market pattern indicates an attempt to bounce back from the lows and range volatility around the 18,050 to 18,100 level. This is a positive sign and further upside can be expected in the near term.
On the day when volumes on NSE were slightly above the recent average; Realty, electricity, oil & gas and consumer durables index were the biggest gainers, while healthcare index declined the most. Small-cap and mid-cap indices rose between 0.78 per cent and 1.2 per cent.

An upside breakout of the current range of 18,060 to 18,100 level may open further towards the next resistance level of 18,250 to 18,350 level and further upside. A few sessions. Immediate support for NSE Nifty has been placed at 17,850 levels.
