Day Trading Guide for Wednesday: After showing sharp weakness on Monday, the Indian stock market made a good comeback on Tuesday and closed the day in a green zone. The Nifty-50 index closed 264 points higher at 17,176, while the BSE Sensex closed 886 points higher at 57,633. Bank Nifty index also climbed 882 points to close at 36,618 level. According to stock market experts, the current trading pattern indicates inside day type formation and may have further positive impact in the coming sessions.
Volumes on the NSE were below the recent average. There was no sectoral loss, while realty, metal and bank sectors were the main gainers. The BSE Mid-cap and Small-cap indices underperformed with gains of 1.1 per cent and 1.3 per cent, respectively.

However, the current upside bounce may be short-lived and one can expect a recovery from the selling pressure. Important overhead resistance at 17,550 to 17,600 levels on NSE Nifty in the near term.”
