Days after praising Twitter, Kangana Ranaut calls Instagram ‘dumb’

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]Nov 11 (ANI): After calling Twitter the “best social media platform”, Kangana Ranaut thinks Instagram is dumb!

Ironically, Kangana took to her Instagram stories on Friday and called Instagram “dumb”. She wrote, “Dumb Instagram is all about photos, whatever opinion writes it disappears the next day, like everyone else is playful, frivolous, stupid who doesn’t see what he saw / what he did the day before Worn because they don’t anyway’ doesn’t mean what they say should disappear.”

She continued, “But what about some of us who mean everything they say and want to document their thoughts for those who want to delve into them, start a dialogue or conversation? These are mini blogs, which should be open to interpretation for the development of both subject and matter.”

Interestingly, after Elon Musk took to Twitter, Kangana lauded the news and even said that the micro-blogging site is “intellectually, ideologically motivated.”

Describing Twitter as intellectually and ideologically motivated, he termed it as “best” and said those who have an Aadhaar card will have to “get” a verified blue tick.

She is also hoping to regain access to her suspended Twitter account.

Last week, Kangana re-shared a fan’s post on Instagram Story in which she asked Elon Musk to restore the actor’s account.

The person who goes by the username moron_humor originally shared the post on Twitter. He posted screenshots of Donald Trump’s statement and Kangana’s blocked account. The person captioned the post, “In the spirit of ‘Freedom of Speech’.. Hope you restore @KanganaTeam to @elonmusk too.”

She also shared a screenshot of a news article titled, ‘Elon Musk takes charge of Twitter, CEO Parag Agarwal fires other top executives: Report’. Sharing it on his Instagram Stories, he dropped several clapping emojis.

In May 2021, Kangana’s Twitter account was ‘permanently suspended for repeated violations of Twitter Rules’. The suspension came after the actress made an incendiary post, which claimed that the Mamata Banerjee-led All India Trinamool Congress’s victory in the West Bengal assembly elections had sparked violence.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana will next be seen in ‘Tejas’ with a period drama film ‘Emergency’, which will be her first solo directorial venture. (ANI)
