Death of two soldiers of Rajasthan, last rites with respect in Churu Jaipur News – Times of India

On Saturday, Deputy Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore paid tribute to Kumbhkaran Singh Rathore, who was martyred in the line of duty in UP.

Bikaner/Jaipur: Churu martyr was given a heartfelt farewell on Saturday. Kumbhakaran Singh Rathore (28) of the 27 Rajputana Rifles, the second rifle regiment of the Indian Army after the Madras Regiment Regiment. The last rites of the martyr jawan were performed with state honors in his native village Togawas.
The tearful family members bid goodbye to their loved one amidst slogans from villagers as the mortal remains of Rathore, who died in the line of duty in Rathore. Shahjahanpur of Uttar Pradesh, were brought to Taranagar tehsil of the district on Saturday morning.
Army personnel including Deputy Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore, Narendra Budania MLA Taranagar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Prabhjot Singh Gill, Deputy SP Om Prakash Godara paid tribute to the martyr by garlanding him.
The soldier’s family consists of father Gulab Singh, mother Anop Kanwar, wife Neelam Kanwar, three-year-old daughter and five-month-old son. In the early hours of Saturday, Rajasthan lost constable GD Mahendra Singh Ranawat of the 21st Battalion of the Border Security Force, who was posted at BSF Sector Headquarters Siliguri. He died of lightning while on ambush cum patrol duty around midnight on Saturday.
Officials said the body of late CT Ranawat reached Ahmedabad airport from Bagdogra airport on Saturday afternoon. His body will reach his house in Rohaniya village of Banswara district of the state on Sunday morning. Border Security Force officials said the soldier would be given full guard of honor at the time of cremation at his native place. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and political leaders of the state paid tribute to the departed souls on Saturday.
