The project marks Deepika’s first film with Prabhas. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan in an important role. Earlier this year, on Guru Purnima, Amitabh Bachchan gave a muhurta shot of the much-awaited Prabhas-starrer. Prabhasi shared a picture from the sets and gave Bachchan the title of “Guru of Indian Cinema”. “On this #GuruPurnima, it is an honor for me to clap for the guru of Indian cinema!…It begins now!! #ProjectK” he captioned the picture.
Speaking about the film, the director Nag Ashwin Earlier shared in a statement, “I am very excited to see Deepika portray this character. This is something that no mainstream lead has done before and it will be quite a surprise to everyone. The pairing of Deepika and Prabhas will be one of the highlights of the film and the storyline between them, I am sure, will be something that the audience will keep in their hearts for years to come. ,
